Re: Ester A. Tefteller Bales wife of John R. Bales

"...noting that in the 1900 census I find, next door to Ester's son Walter F. Bales, a William T. Allen and wife Hester Allen. Hester Allen's age and birthplace are a match for Ester A. Tefteller Bales. And her marriage 14 years earlier would have been shortly after her first husband, John R. Bales, died in 1885. In 1920, Walter F. Bales is in Tarrant Co. So are William & Hester Allen."

Re: Ester A. Tefteller Bales wife (first) of John R. Bales and second of W. T. Allen

I was looking into the (above) information about Ester A. marrying a W T Allen after the death of her husband, John R Bales. I located a Ester A Allen who died Feb 15, 1934 who I believe is one of the same. I looked up her death certificate and the informant was Fred W Bales so I am sure this is Hester Ann Tefteller Bales Allen. According to her death certificate and Cemetery index, she is buried at Carson Cemetery!
