In Allens Chapel Community, 7 miles northwest of Honey Grove. From Honey Grove, 2 miles west on US 82, north 4 miles on FM 1396 to intersection of FM 1396 and CR 2750. East on CR 2750 1 mile to cemetery. (Vineyard Grove Cemetery is the other cemetery showing on the left (West) side of the map.)

Allens Chapel Cemetery

Allens Chapel and Allen's Point are both named for Wilson Bruce Allen. The Nicholson Post Office and Store was in this area. The Allens Chapel Community was established in the early 1840's. The First Methodist Church was there was in 1842. The first record of a school at Allens Chapel was in 1852.
