Bralley Pool Cemetery

One photo of Allen Cemetery showing many downed trees. This Cemetery is located near the Bralley Creek SE of Windom and was named for the Bralley Family and also for the Pool which was a deep popular swimming hole on Bralley Creek.

"It is south of the stone silo. You'll see a fallen down barn near Bralley Creek. There is a road just across the Creek (dry creek) where you'll see what used to be a road. Follow it and you'll find the cemetery to the left of it."

Step by step directions sent to us by Alan Bouyssou are posted at left. Thanks, Alan!

This photo shows the Warren Family stones and also includes those of Boulds and Spencer.

Bralley Pool Cemetery

Nellie Freels (1896-1906) a daughter of S.R. & S.A. Freels and Thomas J. Hamilton (1859-1908) are both recorded on early records as being buried here. Today, their stones are found at McCraw's Chapel Cemetery. It is likely that the stones were moved but their bodies remain buried here now unmarked.
