To reach Cross cemetery take FM897 north from Lannius for.4 miles to left fork onto CR2945. Take CR2945 1.6 miles to private road then left .2 miles to cemetery.

Cross Cemetery

This cemetery is located north of Lannius west off CR-2945 on private property. This family cemetery has recently been fenced into three plots. Approx 10’ X10’, 10’ X 11’, and 10’ X 14’ the large plot has 4 readable stones. A second plot has two burials with the common headstone missing. The third plot simply had a an old Bois d’ Arc border and no headstones before it was fenced. There were a total of 6 marked graves.

Cross Cemetery (Earlier Transcription)

Previously posted transcription (below) included the name of Elizabeth Beal Cross, wife of Joseph P. Cross. Her stone is now missing was missed in the transcription. Based on the death certificate information on Olif Stewart, we suspect she is the same person as Ollie Johnson Cross, wife of Thomas B. and mother of Tommie B. Cross.
