Wolfe & Carlisle Cemetery
This photo was chosen because you can actually spot a tombstone if you look carefully!
The cemetery is completely fenced but has grown up with mostly cedar trees. The gate is located on the northwest corner of the fence. There are at least 21 burials with 18 markers. Three of the markers had double burials. Three footstones mark graves. Two Bois d' Arc markers mark graves. One grave has limestone raised cover with no markings. This cemetery stepped off at about 42' X 54'
Thanks to Joe Carpenter for leading us to the cemetery and to Larry Standlee for transcription and photos. The cemetery was so overgrown, they spent much of the transcription time on their hands and knees. We've decided to double their pay for hazardous duty! $0 x 2 = $0! Thanks, Guys.
